PCB (Printed Circuit Board)
Layout Design with Altium
This
course introduces the students to the process, tools, and
methodology of PCB layout design using Altium Design (Formerly
Protel 99). With our hands-on approach, students will acquire
basic to advanced skills in the use of current PCB layout design
software and techniques. Schematics, printed circuit board
layouts, symbols, and wiring diagrams will be produced on CAD
workstations; terminology and the manufacturing process of
printed circuit boards will also be covered. Developed in
accordance with advanced design methodology, this course
prepares students for entry- to mid-level PCB layout design. The
following subjects will be covered:
